    This bulb is very good for a torch using 2 D Cells. The light colour of my sample is probably not truly cool white but slightly yellow superior to the original incandescent with much lower battery current. I had to get a positive case version for my torch. Be aware that some torches have negative going to the tip of the bulb. The seller was very responsive and was good in offering alternatives for my other applications. Highly recommended.
