However they were shipped from overseas and I was charged tariff fees, despite the listing saying the items would ship from New York. When I contacted the seller to ask for a partial refund to cover the tariffs I was met with hostility and he tried to take the conversation off eBay. No thanks. Now I have to get eBay customer service involved. These are government tariffs, not charges from us. We explained this politely and offered to review her invoice to help clarify. No hostility was ever shown or intended.
