Make sure that you hook up both ribbons. I tried a cheaper option of just cleaning up the digitizer and guck on the LCD screen and spent over 3 hours on it with mechanic and it did not work. Only got a partial screen that did not work. That set me back $50. Wish I went with this option first. As I said, just plugged it in and it worked.
