I had difficulty working out how to remove the base and had to visit UTube for guidance as the accompanying sheet only showed parts not how to get the old one off and the new one on. The new nut wouldn't screw onto the thread so I just used the old one and problem fixed.

I contacted the seller, who replied that the item was sent by AusPost untracked. This morning I received (in a padded envelope) a copy of the invoice. So now it seems that I've spent $25.90 for a Makita collet that I don't have. I hesitate to blame the seller, but I am unhappy about it being delivered untracked and not arriving.
