The only difference I see is the 5V has a yellow band on the transformer and the 12V has a black band on the power supplies I recently purchased? These very small power supplies are great when just a little bit of power is required like driving some LED's. Very wide range of input voltage. I do find an extra capacitor is required on the output supply.

"HEL" green displayed on and followed by 0 V, This device is now in AC voltage measurement mode (as default). Yet don't know "HEL" means. Goto "HELL"? Off- Hold 3 second Or let it off (Auto off) Mode change: Selected by push switch marked "S" and flash light. 1st push and release - EF, Non contact 2nd push and release - oL, continuity test mode(?)
