SEAL Team is a real-time 3D combat simulation based on missions carried out by United States Navy SEAL (Sea-Air-Land) special forces units in the Mekong Delta during the Vietnam War. There are 80 historically based missions encompassing seven different types including patrol, ambush, demolition, rescue, recover, snatch, and observe.<br><br>Both daytime and nighttime missions are featured and you are responsible for pre-mission planning and equipment assignments. Once the mission begins, you have direct control over each of the soldiers in the field and can select between first and third person 3D perspective. Control consists of directing the movements, posture, and actions of each of the soldiers.<br><br>The game offers a considerable list of adjustable options for setting the difficulty level. Some of the choices include the amount of ammunition available to the Point Man (unlimited or realistic), enemy wounds (amount of damage inflicted on the enemy), level of enemy intelligence (minimal, decreased, real), player wounds (severity), amount of reload time (instant, timed), weaponry available, and team size.
