Buyer is not in lower 48 states. Listing clearly stated Free Shipping is lower 48 states only. Listing also said we will ship to other areas but buyer must contact us before ordering so we can quote additional postage required. Buyer went ahead and purchased item anyway and then expected us to ship to Hawaii for free. Now posts inaccurate info. And gives US negative feedback. BEWARE!

Asking for additional shipping fees is against eBay policy. Shipping information in the Shipping and Handling box supersede any terms in the item description. I tried to engage seller to find an explanation or mutually acceptable solution, but they instead cancelled the transaction before their first response. There was no justification for additional shipping costs because the cost to ship from seller's location to California (which they do for free) was exactly the same as to Hawaii.
