    the rod between the two universal joints is too short. I had to adjust it which left me very little room for the Allen key to hold it together. it will not go all the way down on the rack and pinion shaft. makes me a little nervous but I'm going to try it out. to be safe I think I'm going to weld the shaft to the universal joints.
