Notes
Stranahan/Zaleski/Rosato, a collective featuring drummer Colin Stranahan, pianist Glenn Zaleski, and bassist Rick Rosato, achieves a new level of musicality and sophistication on their second release for Capri records, "Limitless". The record features mostly compelling original compositions from each member of the trio, including pieces dedicated to Paul Motian and Fred Hersch, as well as a take on Monk's classic "Work". The natural rapport of the trio is impeccably captured on this live to two track recording made by the legendary Malcolm Addey at the mixing console.
