Highly recommend this seller and theses stands. The stands themselves are solid and can be cold or hot worked to customized to your specimen. In my case expensive petrified wood slabs and slab ends. I install black end cap protectors on the legs and ends and use black electrical tape to protect the specimen and surface. I prefer these metal stands over the acrylic ones.
