This weekend I finally got around to putting batteries in and trying it out. The thin fragile threads on the otoscope handle immediately stripped as I was putting the top back on. This renders the entire product useless. Had it not broken at first use, it looked like it would have been very nice. Unfortunately it is cheaply made, low quality aluminum that stripped to easily.
