Rare's third game in the Donkey Kong Country series of side-scrolling platform adventures follows the first two on to GBA, in this release from Nintendo. Based on the 1996 Super NES game, Donkey Kong Country 3 lets players take the role of Dixie Kong, armed with spunky attitude and a nasty ponytail whip, or Kiddy Kong, whose youthful exuberance sends him rolling about with great velocity and precision. Dixie and Kiddy are out to rescue Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong (the stars of the first two games), who have been kidnapped by the evil ruler of the Kremlings, Baron K Roolenstein.
