It's holds the wet and did not soak to bedding but also left top layer dry so my childs not on any damp spot,it can also hold a lot of liquid through the night. it washed well. It's thick so took a bit of time to dry after washing. I've actually ordered another so I have a spare would definitely recommend for bed wetting.
