On Christmas Eve 1999 in Los Angeles, down-and-out trucker Bruce (Robert Carradine) and his friend Pearl (Richard Hillman) are given a proposition by a mysterious antique dealer: $12,000 to deliver a strange crate to Florida by New Year's Eve. They are instructed to not open the crate, under any circumstances. Along the way, they meet ex-cons, a radio evangelist, a washed-up talk show host, a crazed lady trucker, a bizarre mob boss, and more...and when they get to Los Angeles, the are less than amused by what they find! This truly unusual comedic, apocalyptic road picture stars a unique cast.
