Not only was the part padded with paper inside the original box, but that box was padded similarly and put inside another box! Can't get any safer than that! Very good price on this OEM part, also. Just received this afternoon so I have not installed the part, but it looks to be NOS (Open Box) as described and I don't anticipate any problems. Thank you!!!!
