First wadded “balls” of bubble-wrap were taped to top, bottom, and corner high points; then the entire clock was carefully wrapped with MANY layers of small-bubble-wrap; then the bubble-wrapped clock was placed in a bed of twisted layers of heavy brown paper on all sides and sealed in a perfectly sized heavy-duty cardboard box. Clock runs and chimes beautifully!
