This is my 3rd ,Vox guitar in this particular series- the hdc77 that I gifted to a friend about 5 years back, the ssc33, and now the ssc5 with 3 option coaxe pups (the 33 has 2 options) & I've missed the 'single coil'. I enjoy the simplicity of 1 tone, 1 volume. It sounds even better than I remember- I do have better amps nowadays , and I'm enjoying the manageability of a Vox lp style guitar.
