    The function buttons allow you to set the alarm, the date and even the temperature...but not the actual time! The clock comes on at 12AM automatically as soon as you put batteries in but you can't adjust it to the correct time. There is no function button to allow that adjustment (that I can see!) The workaround is to take batteries out and wait till 12AM midnight and THEN put batteries back in so clock is set at correct time. You can THEN set your alarm! It DOES work after that!
