After carefully looking through the versions offered of carved wooden madonna statues, the only one that really moved me was the one I purchased and it did not disappoint. The exquisite face details of mother Mary and the Christ child are very moving and inspiring, depicting much humility and grace. It is a very touching evocation of the Madonna and looks so beautiful at various angles and in different light settings including the hand carved and polished folds of the gown. AAA+++ Thank you!
