But you need to check if your model has a three pin connector it won’t work the tool only supports the 4 pin connector. I contacted them and they told me they do not have a three pin connector available for the reader. I have a 05 800SS that they said it will work on, but no connector! So out of luck on this one. If your bike has a three pin connector don’t waste your time.

The unit basically paid for itself on the first use. It is well made and I like the functionality of the unit. The only negative is the cord, I would like it to be longer.
