The DC96-00887a thermal fuse was no good. I used the heating element, since I was there. The low heat fuse and the thermostat where good. The thermal fuse, on the element body had gone out. That is why I ordered the kit and not just the element, but when I got it, it was bad and the package had already been opened. The repair took way longer than it should have, because I had to track down a good working part over all not a good experience.
