I purchase a pair of these because they looked great but also because I was having eye surgery and the tint looked as if it would help in blocking out the light which would cause extra pain on top of what I was already suffering. Sorry for such a late reply. I'm glad to have purchased these sunglasses. The service has been great and so was the price and shipping speed. The case the glasses are in is really nice and is sure to keep them scratch free.
