I was not able to use the loom that came with the emulator beacuse the harness was too short and had no room in the back of the radio unit tuck it. Ended up separating the emulator from the plug and play harness and spliced directly into the oem harness. However, the emulator seemed to only send the signal to the camera the very first time i put car in reverse. After that it does not turn the camera on until next start of the engine for once only.
