- s***0 (11)- Feedback left by buyer.Past monthVerified purchaseGood value for a kiln. The product information wasn’t clear that the kiln needs a heating source. The kit came with a tea light candle which is not hot enough to fire metal clay. The kiln requires fire gel to heat the kiln which cannot be posted. I bought fire gel from a kitchen supplier. The only ones available are designed for Bain Marie’s and are too large to fit inside the kiln. The solution was to transfer the fire gel from the original tea light container metal shell & do two firings.
