I was able to use the kit because my float valve seat and idle mixture screw were both still good. However, the threads on both of these parts were off just enough that they would thread only part way into the carburetor and not far enough to be usable. Also, the float valve seat had no slot in it for using a screwdriver or other tool to install it. The gaskets were all correct as was the float pivot pin and the float valve itself.
