This is certainly not the case. My mechanic worked for 4 hours trying to make this fit. We cleaned off the remaining glue and returned it to the seller. There was no rust on that pump. This was a faulty part to begin with. We reordered from a different company and it fit right from the get go. I truly would like to see the photos that were given to you as we still have the old part right here. This was a scam from the start and he will probably sell the part we sent back again and repeat scam.
