- a***b (479)- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseI cannot recommend this product. the shaft was too big. seller wasn't at all. pull starter is cheap Chinese ali express with Kevlar string.I had to turn the shaft down on my friends lathe the correct size managed to get 3 cranks before pull starter failed to retract AGAIN. save your money get a drill start. cheap product sold at expensive price. Just mutton dressed as lamb. sadly I cannot recommend this product at all. Very cheap quality pull start. Really bad. To date there have been 164 sold between ebay, Amazon and my web site.This is the first time there has been an issue. I suspect the shaft may have been a faulty one, and I would have been happy to replace it with another, but feedback was already left.In addition the pull start is the same ABS plastic as used on the original HPI, and the spring comes from the same manufacturer. I rewind these with a high strength cord for durability.
