The book came very well packaged so therefore I have to assume that the deficiencies occurred before shipping and should have been disclosed considering it was labeled 'new'. This was a pricy book on which I had to pay extra import charges and it came with a small rip in the dustjacket and the hardcover on the spine as well as a small scratch on another part of the hardcover. These are small and coverable but should have been disclosed. Not a good experience but not bad either it was just ok.
