I got these kama for use in my martial arts practice. I removed the multiple stickers and their glue, lightly sanded the shafts and sharp edges around the "flared" base of each kama, applied teak oil, and they worked perfectly. I was particularly pleased with the flared ends of the handles as this helps one "index" the kama ( know which way the blade is facing without looking at it). A big improvement over my old pair. And the shipping beat the earliest delivery date by two days! Thank you!!
