Well constructed 3d printed item. Maybe a slight bit too small of a diameter. The entire outer diameter seems to be 55mm and slides into my lens hood fairly snuggly. The pressure spring mechanism doesn't really seem to come into play by design. Maybe a future version might have more of a tapered or stepped diameter to fit more universally. But over all seems to be a fairly solid item especially for the price. Would purchase again.
