It's not marketted as quiet. Did you order quiet fan??? or a 4020 sized 12,000RPM fan at 12V for high airflow. If you wanted a quiet fan why not buy a quiet fan? Such as a low rpm one, like a Noctua 4020 that's about 5,000rpm and less than hafl the airflow and has a fluid bearing with a high startup duty cycle. Or reduce the voltage into to this one to run it slowly. Or go wild and solder in wires to run it from a PWM controller. odd.
