    We used these to replace 400W metal halide bulbs illuminating a church steeple. It is not as bright as a new metal halide bulb, but may be as bright as an end-of-life metal halide bulb. It is bright enough to work and will be much less maintenance on these hard-to-reach fixtures, so we are happy with them.
