As someone else already noted, if you have the T48 instead of the old TL866, the adapter must be inserted in the opposite direction because of the design of T48. No need to cut the board, you have to keep the lever of the T48 ziff at around 45 degrees and slighlly insert the adapter pressing on it, unitl it will slide down and the lever is completely horizontal. I'm also putting a photo how a 27c400 should be placed on the adapter's ziff
