Shipping was good. Item arrived undamaged. I wanted to try this type of shade ring on a lamp I'm in the process of restoring. The product itself and materials are decent. It is made in China. However, this design attaches to the top of the gallery. It will hold the shade but if you're moving the lamp it is not as stable as some other types. Also, if you're using the lamp you have to remove the gallery to light it and this would be in the way. I'll keep it and experiment with it. Thank you.
