She even messaged the seller to confirm they were velvet, who said they were velvet. They are not velvet, they are fine corduroy. They do seem to be new however they are covered in white lint and some fine white hair. They are not what the seller advertised and stated in the confirmation message. Given the shipping costs they are not worth returning.
