    The foam is firmer than I expected (may compress less than expected) but as I have not had a chance to try these out, I cannot say if that will cause an issue with the fit of my shoes or not (these were purchased to help slightly too loose shoes fit a bit tighter). If one has a sensitive nose there is a definite (but not offensively strong) off gassing scent from the foam that I believe will dissipate within a few days. On a + note these look exactly as pictured, and the leather feels quite nice
