The D-Link DUB-H7 4-Ports external hub provides versatility to home and office networks. Connect a wide range of USB devices to your computer, such as external hard drives, printers, flash drives, or other USB compatible peripherals and devices, to expand the possibilities for home and office networking. The slim and compact design of the device allows it to fit easily in any space or your laptop bag for convenient travel. D-Link offers 4 port and 7 port USB hubs, to connect the peripherals and accessories you need. If you need more than the 4 ports that are included in this model, you can connect additional hubs to this one, with USB cables. The opportunities to expand your network are abundant, as you can continue connecting hubs to support up to 127 devices. You can connect all types of USB devices, such as external hard drives, keyboards, digital cameras, printers, flash storage drives, USB wireless dongles, and more. In addition, you can connect mobile devices via USB connections, including Apple or Android tablets and smartphones. This model also features a USB fast charging port, which can be used to charge your devices when the hub is connected to a power adapter. The fast charging port delivers currents of up to 2.0A to fast charge our iPhone, iPad, iPod, MP3 player, smartphone or tablet. You can use the fast charging port, even when the computer is in sleep mode, suspend mode or turned off. When the computer is turned on again, the hub automatically switches to data sync mode. The D-Link hub 4 port has four extra USB ports, providing space to connect up to 4 devices. The hub is compliant to USB 2.0 specifications and offers fast data transfer rates between your computer and USB devices. Speeds can vary from 1.5 Mbps to 12 Mbps, although in some situations, you may enjoy speeds of up to 480 Mbps. The D-Link DUB-H7 USB hub buffers data and passes it along to USB 1.1 or USB 2.0 standard devices. The USB 2.0 ports are backwards compatible with USB 1.1, to ensure connectivity between your computer and every type of USB device. Connecting the D-Link USB hub to your computer is easy and takes just a minute; simply connect the hub to a power outlet and USB port on your computer. Once you have the hub connected, you will be ready to start adding peripherals and devices to the USB ports. Add one to your tech setup and expand your network.
