I don't see them on the picture in the listing. Same holes are also on the shipping box. So I'm thinking FedEx wasn't so careful. I myself just sold a set of rims. To prevent this, I cut an extra piece of cardboard taped to inside of box where axles are, as well as a piece of foam on each side of the axle. Just my 2 cents . Overall pleased
