      Sweet 11" girl doll from 1945 is a composition doll with reddish hair in braids & a painted face with brown eyes. She is wearing an orange cloth dress with long gold fringe trim that looks like it could be a sari. Her handwritten tag says she represents India. She is in excellent condition & a good example of 1940's dolls. She was packed very well and sent very fast with other purchases. Combined shipping saved money. Thanks so much!!       This vintage bisque porcelain 17" lady doll made by doll artist Jody Abrams is a truly lovely creation depicting Desiree, a former fiancee of Napoleon Bonaparte before he married Joshephine Beauharnais. This doll has beautiful long auburn hair, pretty glass eyes & a head uniquely molded with a slight turn to the right. She wears a lovely gown of pale gold ribbon sewn on matching netting in hundreds of spiraling curlicues. She's gorgeous! She was packed very well and sent quickly. THANKS! AAA+++
