- a***m (43)- Feedback left by buyer.Past monthVerified purchaseI bought this saddles because in Fender website says they are steel. My vintage saddles have worn with a groove that finally cut the string when I bend it. I suppose they were made of a softer alloy. I tried the graphtec saddles. They never cut a string. But they cut the high end. I believe this Fender steel are not goin to worn because of its hardness and would preserve the top end.
