Al protagonista le obsequian una segunda vida y el lector lo acompaa, desde el momento del accidente hasta su actualidad, pasando por su rehabilitacin en Miami, una depresin que lo lleva al momento ms oscuro de su vida, y muchas aventuras que lo ayudan a superarse. El autor utiliza un pcaro humor que ablanda momentos bastante fuertes e impactantes de la vida del personaje principal. La historia es relatada entre sueos y realidades, lo que crea confusin al lector y lo hace cuestionar entre ambos mundos. Habrpasado esto? Qurealmente sucediy quno? Son preguntas que el lector se harmientras avanza en la lectura. El texto es bastante motivacional, invitando al lector a superarse y vencer sus problemas, con la filosofa de que las cosas "siempre podran estar peor". Tiene tambin un toque informativo, explicando muchas cosas sobre una lesin medular, con la idea de ayudar a muchas personas que pueden encontrarse con la misma situacin.
