Virtualization is ideal for businesses because it can improve worker productivity and limit downtime. With this chip, you also receive the extra protection of Execute Disable Bit technology. It automatically disables dangerous threats that try to insert code into the processor's data buffer.Intel also made a lot of important architectural changes with this generation of processors. They replaced their old front-side architecture with the QuickPath Interconnect, a high-speed point-to-point connection between different parts of the processor's architecture. At a rate of 4.8 gigatransfers per second, the QPI offers even better bandwidth with lower latency compared to the previous FSB technology.
