I bought 2 of these for my 253 Holden engine to keep the compression ratio up, rather than fitting the 308 size bore hole from the gaskets supplied with the gasket kit. It crushed down to 052” and I also re torqued it after a few heat cycles and found that it crushed some more, approx 1/8 of a turn from all my new head bolts. Very happy
