Notes
EU-only collection of 25 songs from The Cardinals who like many groups of the early R&B/doo wop era strangely never received the hits or following they deserved. Today they are considered one the greatest of the early doo-wop groups by fans and collectors alike. Features the A and B sides of all their singles and includes their hits: "Shouldn't I Know", "Wheel of Fortune" and "The Door Is Still Open". Other groups such as the Dells were in awe of The Cardinals and revived their 1956 song, "Offshore" in the '70s. This is the most extensive collection of their repertoire yet released and includes fully detailed liner notes with biography and career achievements. Jasmine.
