The Blu Ray player itself seems to work as advertised. Unfortunately, the remote that came with it does not seem to be compatible with the device. It is for a Sony DVD player. I was unable to find useful instructions on how to sync it with the device even after extensive internet searching. Luckily, I was able to sync my TV remote. I’m not sure how I would have solved the issue otherwise. The player is rendered useless without a functioning remote.
