The item itself came in a hard sleeve and appears to be in new condition, minus the usual scuffing of the plastic shell on the plastic window that can happen even if it wasn't opened. I am honestly shocked it arrived in the condition it did with nothing more than a thin sheet of foam and a rather oversized box. I was almost certain it was going to be destroyed by how it arrived. Everything worked out, so I can't really complain.
