The photos avoided showing a large diagonal gouge that utilized wood putty filler. The photos showed the pipe from every angle except from the front where the gouge was located. This was to be fair a naturally occurring defect that could not be hidden by the original rustification process. I am keeping the pipe because I am skilled enough to repair the flaw properly. However, I am putting the seller on public notice that I know exactly what they did and will avoid any future purchase from them.

Hi. I wish you would have contacted me before you gave me negative feedback. That pipe has been in my collection for many years and I'm not an expert by far and never noticed any flaw. I don't know what you mean by I Know exactly what they did. I never repaired a pipe in my life. Sorry for the problem. You can send it back for a full refund if you like. I stand behind everything I sell.
