Keys are reconfigured, disrupting standard U.S. typing (e.g., Return becomes "", Z becomes "`"). Seller claims they couldn’t know, but authorized resellers can scan a UPC to confirm. The unit is worth 20% less at resale ($560). Their offer of $50, later $100, is unacceptable and fails to meet fair disclosure standards. I am stuck as I needed a laptop asap for work - had to get a bluetooth keyboard to use.

Gotta love free two days shipping especially when the seller is on top of it :) The computer arrived in a standard cardboard box but was packed in an impeccable manner. It was wrapped in protective sleeve (some kind of plastic which was used I assume to protect from static shocks and light magnetism) with additional packing materials inside to ensure its safety. It arrived as described with great value!
