Seller Notes: “This is a ANGELUS 1940s Military issued timepiece movement, the caliber I think is a relative of ... “This is a ANGELUS 1940s Military issued timepiece movement, the caliber I think is a relative of caliber 210- or 215. I bought a winding stem for the watch a few year's ago, and it seemed to wind up the mechanism, minor adjustments are necessary to make it work correctly. As for the movement, it is a guaranteed 14' ligne ANGELUS. I have not the faintest clue as to what it belongs to. All my research led me nowhere, so I am listing it for the collector community. The movement will need extra cleaning and care, but has been stored in an airtight aluminum container, so the parts are in good shape. The dial is superb, it is a Gold 18k Gilt track dial, and the dimensions of the dial end are 33,30 mm/ the bottom movement plate parts dimension is 32,80 mm approx. Please note that the movement is not in working condition, but the balance swings and starts working in some positions.”
