Joe Loftus has been singing for over five decades and has written over 80 songs. He gives credit for his talent to his Irish mother who relied on God and music for giving her the strength to raise ten kids. Joe bought his first guitar while in the U.S. Navy in 1963. After serving in Viet Nam, he and his brother played music around hundreds of campfires. In 1980 he entered an alcohol treatment center where he encountered God's love which freed him from addiction and gave him the inspiration to begin writing songs. One of Joe's passions is to bring joy to the elderly. Since retiring as a pipefitter, he sings with a non-profit group that performs at nursing homes. Joe is married to his wife Jane and they live in Hudson, WI. This is my first professional CD recorded in Nashville, TN. With 3 more prior to this and more to come, I feel excited about this CD being played on country radio. Can't take the US from the USA is climbing the charts as my number 1 hit song.
